With community help, we improve and strengthen lives in Stephens County.

United Way of Stephens County mobilizes resources to improve lives, break the cycle of poverty, and create a stronger community. Our 13 funded programs touch over 20,000 people of all ages, right here in Stephens County.

98 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our programs and partner agencies.

Fall Campaign

Our fall campaign goal is $250,000. Every gift stays local, and every gift matters: $5 a paycheck is $130 a year.

Our events

BBQ Weekend — September 11-12. Two days of barbecue, fun, and community, supporting United Way of Stephens County.

Day of Caring — Every May. A Stephens County tradition for more than three decades. Volunteers spend a day helping our agencies and other county nonprofits handle projects that might otherwise have gone overlooked.

Jail n' Bail — Every February. Our board members find volunteers willing to get "arrested" for a good cause. Once "arrested," each volunteer raises money to get "bailed" out. Every dollar raised goes to the United Way campaign.
